Customize Your Text Effect Using Adobe Photoshop.
For this tutorial, I’ll be using this awesome Retro Photoshop Text Effect. First thing is to unzip the file, then start by downloading and installing the required fonts. The download links can be found inside the help file included.
Now open the template in Photoshop. In the layer’s panel (on your right), double click the smart object layer named “your text here” and a new window should open.

From there you can edit the text or paste your simple text, shapes, or vector logo into smart objects. Fonts can be changed if needed. However, please note that some text effects may work best with a specific type of font or element size. So feel free to play around, changing the font and sizes. When you’re done, just hit the close button and you’ll be prompt to save changes, click yes.

You’re all set!

So, that’s how easy it is to edit your text effect in Photoshop.
